Animated GIF compression

Compress Animated GIFs in Bulk

Compress animated GIF files locally while preserving animation. Reduce colors, skip frames, resize dimensions or set a target KB limit.

ENGINE-ENFORCED · MAY FAIL CLEARLYBatch Img Tools enforces the configured deterministic constraints. It does not promise every combination is mathematically reachable; when constraints conflict, it fails clearly instead of silently changing another requested constraint.
Animation preservedBatch Img Tools decodes and re-encodes the full animation instead of flattening the GIF to one frame.

Compress animated GIFs without silently flattening them

GIF size is driven by several things at once: pixel dimensions, frame count, frame timing and palette complexity. Batch Img Tools exposes those levers directly so you can trade size for visual fidelity intentionally.

If you set a target KB value, Batch Img Tools progressively tries smaller palettes, fewer frames and smaller dimensions until it reaches the target or exhausts the safe compression attempts.

What you can do

  • Preserve animated frames
  • 16–256 color palettes
  • Frame sampling
  • Playback-speed adjustment
  • Optional target KB compression

One rule. Every file. One download.

Add your images above and run the whole batch in one pass — free, private, and exported as a single ZIP.
