Why Does an Upload Say the Image Background Must Be White?
White-background requirements are common in product listings and some document-photo workflows, but the background rule is only one part of the final image specification.

A light wall or nearly white studio background may still contain shadows or grey pixels. A generated white canvas gives a predictable result.
Keep background cleanup separate from compression
First create the correct subject cutout and background. Then resize and compress the final composition to the destination limit.
Check the destination’s current rules
Some destinations require pure white, while others accept off-white or transparent images. Always verify the current receiving form.
