Where Should a Watermark Go: Bottom Right, Center or Repeated?

There is no single best watermark position. A corner mark is subtle, a center mark is harder to miss, and a repeated mark is harder to crop away.

Bottom right for ordinary branding

A bottom-right logo or text mark usually interferes least with the subject and matches common visual expectations.

Center or diagonal for proofs

Centered and diagonal watermarks are more visible, which makes them useful for client review copies.

Repeat the mark when cropping is a concern

A tiled watermark covers more of the frame and is harder to remove with one simple crop.
