How to Prepare a Resume or CV Profile Photo

Start from the original photo and generate each destination version independently. Recompressing an already compressed profile photo repeatedly will soften facial details.
Keep the crop flexible
Some resumes display a square photo, others use a circle or portrait crop. Keep the face centered and avoid placing important content near the edges.
Match the actual portal limit
If a job site specifies a KB or MB ceiling, apply that limit only to the destination output rather than degrading your master image.
