How to Fix a JPG Upload Failed Error
A .jpg filename does not guarantee the upload will pass. The portal may still reject dimensions, file size, metadata or a malformed encoding.

Re-encoding the image can remove odd container problems and ensures the file contents really match the JPEG format.
Check the rejection rule
Look separately at file size, dimensions, aspect ratio and minimum requirements. These are independent constraints.
Strip metadata only when useful
