HEIC Upload Failed: How to Fix It

HEIC is efficient for phone photos, but not every upload form accepts it. If the error is about format support, reducing the file size alone will not solve it.

Convert the format first

Exporting to JPEG gives broad compatibility. Keep the original HEIC as your master and generate a JPG copy for the destination that rejects it.

Then apply the destination limits

If the same form also has a KB or pixel limit, add those constraints to the JPG output instead of running a second tool.

Batch conversion matters

For a folder of phone photos, process them together and keep the JPG copies in a separate output folder.
