How to Fix a “File Size Too Small” Upload Error
Most compressors focus on making files smaller. Some forms do the opposite as well: they reject files below a minimum byte size. That requires range validation instead of a maximum-only compressor.

Increasing pixel dimensions can change the visual content and may violate another rule. If the JPEG already has valid dimensions, byte padding can sometimes satisfy a minimum without altering the rendered image.
Check the maximum too
Minimum-only fixes are uncommon; most portals specify a range. Validate both ends after processing.
